Walkathon 2024

The 2024 FOM Walkathon will take place Friday, May 10 at 1pm.   This year’s theme is ‘Walking As One.’  On the afternoon of May 10, the students and staff of Murphy will take a 2 mile walk through the neighborhood celebrating our amazing school and community.

For the weeks leading up to the walkathon, students will be raising money through sponsorship to help fund fieldtrips and school improvements.  They will also have the opportunity to earn class and individual prizes.  Please consider supporting a neighbor, friend, or family member who is a student at Murphy by sponsoring them.  Every donation makes a difference!

Here is how you can help:

• Give online and make sure that you provide the student’s name and room number so they can get credit toward earning prizes.
• Give directly (via cash or check) to the student or drop off at the office.
• ALL DONATIONS ARE DUE BY MAY 8 for prize eligibility.
• Volunteer to help.  More information to come.
• Cheer on the students during the walk (approx 1:30-2:30pm)
